Recently, I had the privilege of spending a day with three lads who have earned my respect and admiration. These three university graduates from the UK were on their “gap year” and were using it to make a huge difference in the lives of others. They were in the middle of a 2,400-mile expedition, via kayak, from the source of the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico, to raise funds for Help for Heroes, a UK charity that supports service members who were wounded in combat.
And I had the honour of telling their story in the UK, via The Telegraph, and in the US, via Techli.com.
